The BOM Loader maps aPriori fields to column headings read in from a comma-separated values (CSV) file, so you can generate and populate aPriori components and rollups with multiple types of manufacturing and cost data, including quoted costs, actual costs, user-defined costs, carbon estimates, and even cost estimates constructed outside of aPriori, such as from a spreadsheet model. You can also use the BOM loader to import lists of purchased parts and their manufacturing and cost data, providing the ability to load a complete parts catalog.
